So... I've had Platinum for less than two weeks and I've already clocked 49hours 9minutes.

I was just typing "Vampire Weekend" into Mininova's search engine, and "lesbian vampire killers" came up as an apparently popular search phrase o.O I guess I should have seen that coming?

I can't believe it's taken me so long to properly go through The Hype Machine's 2008 Music Blog Zeitgeist but if I'd had any idea that you could listen to 50 full length albums, streaming from the site I would have been all over that soooo soooo much sooner. I've already discovered 3 new albums that I absolutely love. This is the greatest thing since sliced bread. Yes. The Hype Machine has gotten so much better in the past few months, too. I've noticed a marked increase in the speed at which songs buffer- it used to be intolerably slow, and you couldn't navigate around the site while a song was playing before, and now you can which is excellent. I was over at t61 for a while, but The Hype Machine has definitely won me back <3<3

eta. Ok, so most but not all of the albums are full length. Some of the songs on various albums are just 30 second samples, and some of the albums are nothing but 30 second song clips. I guess it was just too awesome to be true :(

This is pretty much how I feel about school right now.
I had lots lots more to say about things, but it's getting late and I have to get up very early tomorrow morning to go to work, so for now this picture will have to speak a thousand words.

I restarted my Pearl game again tonight. I've decided that I'm gonna spend the pre-Elite Four part of the game getting my Piplup to lv100. Why in heck would I want to do that, you ask? A lv100 Piplup is pretty useless, I know. But it's pretty hard - re. annoying - to try and EV train your Pokes properly pre-E4 because you can't go everywhere and trainers with undesirable Pokemon keep mobbing you left right and center. And since I love Piplup but hate it's evolutions I figure why the hell not? Besides I'd feel pretty badass taking on the E4 with a lv100 Piplup. I'll just wait 'til after I beat the Elite Four and get an Eevee to breed to make my team. And Wiggles (my Piplup <3) might not be completely useless. He might have at least one maxed out IV >> re. this post he has "often dozes off" >> so he might come in useful for breeding later.
